Velotech Training
We have now moved into our new training premises based at Block A, Unit 5, JKS Workshops, North Elgin PLace, John Knox Street, G81 1LU. Moving the training courses to these premises, means that we can provide enough space for the social distancing and follow the current coronavirus government guidelines.
To run the courses effectively, we do need a minimum of 2 trainees per session. If courses have less than 2 participants, we reserve the right to contact you, and offer an alternative course, or to give you a refund.
If you are interested in the training, please contact us on info@cycleform.co.uk or on 07900241753 and we will be in touch as soon as the courses are up and running.

CYCLE TO WORK SCHEME

The Velotech Awards are accredited awards aligned with the National Qualification Framework.
The Velotech courses range from training and assessment in basic bicycle maintenance-the Red, White, Blue and Bronze Awards; to the Silver and Gold courses, which provide training and assessment in bicycle mechanics to Industry standard level. The Silver course is a pre-requisite for going onto the Gold course.
The Velotech courses are run by Donald Cameron, Velotech trainer for Glasgow and West Scotland.
These courses are run at Cycleform's training centre, but we also operate as a mobile training unit and can run courses at customers’ venues.
During the course the candidates are shown how to perform each task, then led through the procedure, and finally have to carry out the task unaided to demonstrate that they understand the procedure and can carry it out in a safe and competent manner.
- We run a professional bike workshop and pride ourselves on the quality of our work
